personal projects ⋆⭒˚.⋆

In light of my coding era I was inspired to make a community based website like Very Good Films ↗ and Places to Read ↗. I truely do love a good banh mi so that is what quite literally inspired the website. I've forced my friends to recommend their fave places so the first 7 suggestions are all from melbourne but ideally would love for this to be a source world wide.

typography book

An ode to typefaces I love or typefaces I think would look cool printed on paper. The goal is to not spend more than 20 minutes on each design so I have taken inspiration from how the type designers sell their typefaces. Each page is printed on random colours of paper and kept in this little A5 muji booklet to take make this little project as easy and stress free as possible. This is just something fun for me to look at and something I can do in my spare time.

Starting 2025 I really want to prioritise physical works as an archive (ironic as I coded this website). I think it stems from a massive fear that one day the cloud will disappear and I will have no memory or recollection of anything and have nothing to show for myself. Anyway how cute did they turn out!

cooking era [cookbook]

In the same vein as my typography book, I want to archive the things I love. Except I hate cooking. So much. So I'm hoping this recipe book will help motivate me to cook because the recipe isn't lost in my save folder on tiktok. I also think it's so fun I added the little images to the book for reference.

junk journal [ongoing]

I always hated journalling and the idea of journalling but this is the only form of journalling I've maintained since 2022. Honestly I started this because I had too many stickers and was too scared to use them so now I have a place to put them. I also would feel bad throwing out pretty packaging so it made sense to compile them all in one book. It's not meant to look cute or pretty but rather as an archive of the places I've been and the things I've done because I tend to forget literally everything.
